ROME – AN ARENA FOR CULTURE, SPIRITUALITY & ‘CAPITALE’

.

Does anyone need introduction to Rome? Thanks to movies like the then Ben Hur to Gladiator, we all have been taken back to those times and have relived the moments. These movies presented the magnificent buildings; wonderful interiors of Roman palaces and of course the narrow streets, albeit with the aid of digital graphics.
Is that all about Rome?
Not at all! Once you walk into this world’s largest open air museum-city, you will be seduced with real buildings which stood the testing times and environments. You would get hypnotized to forget the modernity which ought to look
clumsy and clustered.

‘Roma Capitale’ is the capital of Italy and the stands at 4th place as the most populous city in European Union. An eternal city sustaining its beauty and charm for more than two millennia speaks volumes about her to the tourists. Rome is a city associated with legend and myth as to how it was founded. Romulus and Remus, the two twins, were brought by a she-wolf and it is Romulus who is believed as the founder of Rome. This city had witnessed several monarchs, emperors but gave birth to the idea of democracy in the form of ‘Republic’.

Local Transportation
Tourists can choose public bus or local train or a cab to go around the city.
